Everyone needs a Kathy King in their life! The energy, focus, dedication, and commitment that Kathy brings to her events is unparalleled. As a team leader and long-time volunteer for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement in Sarasota Manatee, Kathy has never ceased to meet and exceed whatever goal she sets for her team. From coordinating small, recurring fundraising events to planning large benefit concerts, Kathy understands the different tasks that are needed to successfully host an event. Everyone has been touched by cancer, so everyone can help in some way. She has repeatedly recruited and motivated over 50 loyal team members to help implement the strategic fundraising plan created each year for Team Pookie. This commitment has led to Team Pookie’s raising over $95,000 for the American Cancer Society. Thank You Kathy and Team Pookie for your support and dedication to the fight against cancer.
